This summer, we’re excited to be launching our brand new, Ocean optimism campaign that everyone can take part in. Ocean Friendly Homes will help people take simple actions at home that can positively benefit the Ocean. You, along with thousands of others, can join our mission by picking up the Ocean Friendly Home Planner – available at our Centre of Ocean Excellence the National Marine Aquarium or as a digital download coming soon on this page. It’s full of simple tips to help you make Ocean-friendly swaps in your home, no matter where you live.
What is an Ocean Friendly Home?
An Ocean Friendly Home is a space where small actions make a big difference. It’s about making mindful choices that are good for you, your home, and the Ocean. From using less water and energy to swapping out single-use plastics and choosing Ocean-safe products, it’s all about practical steps that add up.
Transforming your home into a more sustainable and Ocean-friendly space is easier than you might think. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about taking small swaps in the right direction. Many of these swaps will also help you save money, reduce waste, and live more comfortably.
