Join the Ocean Conservation Trust and CleanUp UK to help clean up Plymouth’s Waterfront and become part of a movement to reduce litter entering our Ocean.
We are committed to reducing avoidable plastics in Plymouth and are part of Plymouth’s Plan for Plastics. These litter picks will be led by our staff and open to community to join.

Please meet at the front entrance to the National Marine Aquarium (PL4 0LF) at the time stated on your booking.
Our team will meet you there with all of the equipment needed, and the pick will commence following a short health and safety briefing. Please ensure you are dressed appropriately for the weather conditions, as we will be running the litter picks in all weathers!
In the event of a weather warning, we will be in touch to cancel the litter pick to ensure the safety of volunteers and staff.
Everyone involved is welcome back to the aquarium for a well-earned biscuit and hot drink afterwards!
CleanUpUK
The Ocean Conservation Trust is a hub for CleanUpUK. We host the equipment and loan it out, championing volunteering in the community and promoting litter picking.
What is the Litter Pick route?
The routes followed tend to be on public footpaths, supporting as many people to be able to join us. If you have any questions regarding the accessibility of our litter picks, please email community@oceanconservationtrust.org or call 01752 275217.
