A guided tour of the National Marine Aquarium, home of the Ocean Conservation Trust, with one of our passionate Ocean Discovery Rangers.
Behind the scenes tour:
Book in for one of our behind-the-scenes tours to learn more about the mesmerising world of the National Marine Aquarium.
Virtual Wellbeing Hour:
Explore the wonders of our Aquarium with a guided virtual reality session from an Ocean Discovery Ranger.
Blue Space Clean Up:
Meet us at a beach, river, or local blue space and we’ll carry out a clean-up of the area. We’d take away whatever we collect and evaluate the data as part of our programme.
Rockpool session:
Our Ocean Discovery Rangers will guide you around the rocky shore and use science and storytelling to help you understand more about our local wildlife.
Boat trip:
Join our Marine Biologists and learn about the importance of seagrass meadows, encounter fascinating local marine species such as Spider crabs and Starfish, and participate in a plankton trawl to observe these tiny creatures under a microscope.
Snorkel session:
The Ocean Conservation Trust Snorkel Safaris offer the chance to join our amazing team of Ocean conservationists at Mount Batten Beach to explore beneath the waves.
Day at the National Seagrass Nursery:
Experience a day at the UK’s largest seagrass nursey with our expert seagrass technicians. Learn more about our Blue Meadows programme and what it takes to grow seagrass from seed to adult plants.
