Join us as we chat to Galapagos Conservation Trust researchers for our second annual late event online!

Join the Ocean Conservation Trust as we bring together scientists from Galapagos Conservation Trust (GCT) to discover the wonders of the Galapagos Marine Reserve, home to a plethora of unique marine species. Galapagos Conservation Trust is working to protect the Marine Reserve and the surrounding ocean against threats from climate change, overfishing and plastic pollution.

Joining us will be two amazing speakers:

Dr Diana Pazmiño

Dr Diana is a Professor at Universidad San Francisco de Quito who was born in the Galapagos Islands and is a geneticist, studying the connectivity of shark and ray populations.

Jen Jones

Jen is GCT’s Head of Programmes and is a marine biologist who specialises in the impacts of pollution on marine food webs. Both are passionate about environmental education and strengthening the capacity of young local scientists, especially women, to conserve this unique region into the future.
