The United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development runs from 2021 to 2030.
10 Years. 10 Challenges. 1 Ocean. The Ocean Decade is a shared, global effort. It will bring together Ocean science and knowledge from across the globe to reverse the decline of the current state of the Ocean, and create new opportunities for sustainable development.
Action will be taken at all levels to catalyse change across all geographies, genders, sectors, disciplines and generations. The Ocean Decade Actions are tangible initiatives being carried out across the globe to achieve the science we need for the Ocean we want.
