Over the past two decades our charity has been supporting conservation efforts around the world through our grants programme.
We have worked in over 13 countries to help small scale projects that might not normally receive funding to get off the ground.
We have supported a wide range of projects, including everything from art installations to snorkel trails. Each year, we select relevant conservation themes for the grants, but since day one, projects have always been required to align with our ethos of connecting people with the Ocean.
Current Projects we’re supporting
We are currently supporting projects that focus on little-studied ray species in the Galapagos, and Manta Rays and Whale Sharks in Mozambique.
The Galapagos Conservation Trust, Galapagos Islands

Galapagos Conservation Trust is undertaking an innovative project using drone technology and genetic sampling to investigate the connectivity and habitats of little-studied ray species in the Galapagos Islands.
This project will enable an understanding of ray abundance and confirm the species present, as well as gather information on their genetic diversity and connectivity to other populations. This is vital information to recognize which ray populations are most vulnerable and to identify nursery areas that would benefit from greater protections.
