At the Ocean Conservation Trust, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience and connect with our Ocean, no matter their age or where they live.
As such, we work extensively with local communities and youth groups nationwide to give them opportunities to see and experience blue spaces – whether that’s via innovative VR technology that brings the Ocean to them, wherever they are, or at our centre of Ocean excellence at the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth.
The Ocean is for everyone, and experience inspires the emotional connection that is needed to make people want to take care of it. Experience leads to connection and action. The result? A healthier Ocean for all.
Our ‘Ocean for All’ programme has seen our dedicated team of Ocean Discovery Rangers working with people from all walks of life, giving them an immersive Ocean experience, with the help of innovative VR technology.
