£22,000 – 24,000 pa (dependent on experience)

The National Marine Aquarium is the UK’s premier underwater world, featuring over 4,000 stunning Ocean animals in some of the largest exhibits in the country.

Home to the Ocean Conservation Trust, the Aquarium provides an opportunity to connect first-hand with the Ocean. It offers all who visit a window to a world beneath the waves showcasing the importance of caring for our blue planet.

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Marketing Officer to join our Marketing and Communications team.  You will play a key role in marketing the National Marine Aquarium and all it has to offer to maximise visitor numbers and revenue as well as supporting the marketing initiatives that develop the OCT as the leading Ocean conservation charity in the UK.

We are looking for a marketing professional with proven experience in marketing or communications.  More importantly we would like an individual with a passion for tourism with great writing skills, mastery of administration and good attention to detail.

This role is full-time working 37.5 hours per week based at the National Marine Aquarium in Plymouth.
