The National Marine Aquarium is the heart of our charity’s conservation work. Even though our doors are closed, our dedicated team are still working to care for all of our animals.
We rely on visitors to the Aquarium to fund vital habitat restoration and behaviour change programmes. Even when closed to the public, the cost of operating the largest Aquarium in the UK can be up to £10,000 a day. Our charity has lost around £1.2 million in income since we closed in March.
