We are looking to recruit a member of staff to join our Ocean Advocacy & Engagement Team as a Schools Administrator. You will be based at the National Marine Aquarium and your primary role will be to expand our audience by initiating telephone conversations with school staff, promoting their uptake of the Ocean Conservation Trust Learning Programme, and administrating the booking processes required to operate the programme.

As well as initial introductory calls to teachers, you will be expected to provide additional written information, make follow-up calls and accurately and efficiently record information across a range of software packages as required. As part of the role, you will also be continuing to build our inhouse Schools contact database.

As a people focused conservation charity we are looking for a confident, motivated individual who is able to demonstrate enthusiasm for our work and a clear sense of purpose when communicating on the phone.

This is a part time role working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working hours flexible. The salary will range between £17,846 – £18,720 per annum depending on experience.
