We’re very proud to welcome Phillip Birkenstein as a new Ambassador for our charity.

British entrepreneur, Phillip Birkenstein, Chairman and founder of the St Petersburg Collection, Creations by THEO FABERGÉ, is particularly proud to have worked with many charities worldwide and is now delighted to be an Ambassador our charity, supporting our work on seagrass restoration.

Amongst other charities, Philip also acts with full Power of Attorney for the State Museum Preserve, Tsarskoye Selo, St Petersburg, Russia, in the UK.

Philip works extensively worldwide with the cruise ship industry and has committed to raising funds for the regeneration of a seagrass meadow to celebrate H.R.H Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee in 2022 and planting a new seagrass meadow to celebrate THEO FABERGÉ ’s Centenary also in 2022 but will be planted in 2023.

Mark Lomas, the Chairman of our charity commented “We are delighted to have Philip join us as an Ambassador and support our seagrass work. Seagrass is such an important habitat not only because of the wonderful marine life it supports but for its amazing ability to absorb carbon and mitigate coastal erosion. We look forward to working with Philip in supporting our Ocean to celebrate H.R.H Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee in 2022 and THEO FABERGÉ ’s Centenary also in 2022 but to be planted in 2023”.
